On May 5th, 2023, the General Assembly of the National Association for Inbound and Domestic Tourism of Moldova (ANTRIM) took place, an important event for the association’s members and the development of the tourism industry in Moldova.
During this meeting, the activity report for ANTRIM for the implementation period of the grant provided by the Support of Moldova Competitiveness Transition Activity for 2022, as well as the activity report for the implementation period of the grant provided by the Moldova Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Activity Project for 2023, projects funded by USAID Moldova, were presented.
The General Assembly session was opened by Elena Stepanov, ANTRIM’s executive director, followed by Benjamin Toric, PCRR director, and Irina Nasalciuc, USAID Project Manager Assistant. After a series of productive discussions about the achievements made in the past year, the members presented and validated the plan of activities for the next period.
ANTRIM aims to support the development and promotion of rural tourism in Moldova, to support the capacities of rural communities, and to ensure opportunities for the development of local businesses. By creating new tourism products and attracting investments, ANTRIM will contribute to the growth of the local economy and improve the living standards of residents in rural areas.”
