By establishing the protocol with sanitary measures for protection and prevention of infection on companies’ premises, tourism activities were launched under conditions of increased attention to the safety and health of both tourists and employees, in order to limit the risk of transmission of COVID-19 virus.

The Guide with sanitary protocol recommendations for enterprises from the inbound and domestic tourism from the Republic of Moldova represents a roadmap document elaborated according to the recommendations and communications from the European Commission, Council of Europe, World Health Organization and World Travel & Tourism Council, in the context of the COVID-19 associated risks management. Moreover, the Protocol with cleaning and disinfection standard procedures in the COVID-19 context has been consulted. The Protocol was elaborated by the Housekeeping experts of “Suite24” Hospitality Consulting company – Elisabetta Marinelli and Enza Roberto. It is also advised that all general public health measures for the prevention of COVID-19 virus, issued by the competent authorities of the Republic of Moldova, to be respected.
The GUIDE has been recognized by the World Tourism and Travel Council (WTTC) and has received the Global Safety Stamp “Safe Travels”. It meets recommendations for all types of tourism activities and all departments within companies, starting from the department responsible for welcoming travelers and ending with the department responsible for cleaning or serving food.
Moreover, it helps increase the confidence of travelers around the world that the tourism activity of companies in the Republic of Moldova is based on precautionary measures and corresponds to Health and Safety instructions, according to the global standards of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). At the same time, employees are assured that tourism activities are resumed under conditions of increased attention to their safety.
ANTRIM is the only association in Moldova that has obtained Safe Travels accreditation and is empowered to offer the title of Safe Trales to Moldovan companies.
